Dillon Nathaniel Make His Debut On Piero Pirupa’s Nonstop With ‘Get Funky’
Following releases earlier this year on Stashed and Glasgow Underground, US talent Dillon Nathaniel now makes his debut on Piero Pirupa’s NONSTOP label with his ‘Get Funky’ EP.
The release also comes after three track heater Reason To Fly on Solardo’s Sola adding to his impressive catalogue of releases on the likes of South Of Saturn, Techne, Solotoko, Big Beat, Toolroom and Insomniac.
Immersed in the electronic scene at the early age of 8, Dillon’s Dad would take him on road trips to see the likes of Carl Cox and Sasha. Eventually taking him to EDC at the age of 16, that was the moment Dillon knew he’d forge a path in dance music.
Initially starting as an audio engineer, guitarist and vocalist, Dillon swiftly transitioned to DJ/producer who has now played at the likes of Coachella, CRSSD and EDC Las Vegas marking a full circle moment for the rising talent.
Fast forward to now and Dillon Nathaniel is turning the heads globally with his thick grooves, finding fans in fellow DJs and radio tastemakers alike including A-Trak, Idris Elba, Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Solardo, Noizu, MK and Lee Foss as well as landing support on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and Rinse FM.
Now heading to Piero Pirupa’s NONSTOP, Dillon Nathaniel’s ‘Get Funky’ EP is already seeing approval from the likes of Martin Solveig, Roberto Surace, Riva Starr, Solardo, Calvin Harris, Martin Ikin, LEFTI and more.
Boasting 90s infused synth stabs, grooving vocal hooks and chunky breakdowns, ‘Get Funky’ makes for a peak time weapon. Meanwhile, In Your System moves to deeper dance floor territories with acid tinged warps and ethereal builds.
