Putin appoints new ambassadors to India and Singapore

Vladimir Putin appointed Nikolai Kudashev as Ambassador to Singapore, Denis Alipov – to India, the Russian Ambassador to India was transferred to a similar position in Singapore, his place was taken by Denis Alipov, Deputy Director of the Second Asian Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry

Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Nikolai Kudashev ambassador to Singapore, and Denis Alipov & mdash; in India, follows from published decrees. Thus, Alipov was appointed to replace Kudashev.

Nikolai Kudashev was born in 1958, in 1981 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. From 2002 he worked at the Russian Embassy in India, from 2010 to 2015 he was the Russian Ambassador to the Philippines. He served as Russian Ambassador to India since October 2017. Fluent in Chinese and English. He has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, awarded in June 2019.

Denis Alipov was born in 1970. Prior to his current appointment, he was deputy director of the second department of Asia at the Russian Foreign Ministry. Since 2016, he has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

On January 10, Putin also replaced the Russian ambassador to the Central African Republic (CAR). Alexander Bikantov was appointed to this position instead of Vladimir Titorenko. Prior to his appointment to the CAR, Titorenko held the position of deputy director of the department for new challenges and threats of the Foreign Ministry, and even earlier was the Russian ambassador to Iraq and Algeria.

A day later, Putin appointed a new Russian ambassador to Tunisia. It was Alexander Zolotov, Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, who replaced Sergei Nikolaev in his post.
