Apple Music Releases Fitness Mix Series With Sets By Above & Beyond, Loud Luxury, And More

If January isn’t the perfect time of the year to cater to the newfound fitness enthusiasts coming straight out of new years resolutions, we’re not sure when it would be.

Apple Music is doing just that, after dropping 24 DJ Mixes for us to end 2021 with, they now followed up it up with a fitness focussed DJ set mix series.

Broken into four subcategories of Ride, Run, Gym, and Yoga, each mix set has been built keeping in mind a specific kind of workout session. The first set made for riding has been curated by Aluna and features a more relaxed build-up to a 90-bpm rang which then carried through for the rest of the ride.

Powerhouses Loud Luxury was given the duties of curating the Run playlist with upbeat anthems and this list does just that with the duo saying the set will “keep you on pace so you’re never getting bored but also not losing all of your energy on one song.”

On duty for the Gym mix, they brought on Valentino Khan who created an intense mix full of hip-house and house tracks mixed in with his originals. And for the last Yoga-centric mix, it couldn’t be any more fitting than them handing the reigns to Above & Beyond who shared, “That’s always been the goal with our ‘Flow State’ albums and mixes. We try to structure our mindfulness mixes with a smaller, intimate opening before stretching out to more string-based records.”

Check out these mixes on Apple Music under the Fitness 2022 (DJ Mix) sets below.
