The Ministry of Defense announced strikes on five railway stations in Ukraine, including in Lvov. As a result, six substations were destroyed, through which, according to the department, the Armed Forces of Ukraine supplied weapons from the USA and Europe

The Russian military launched strikes with long-range air and sea-based weapons in the areas of several railway stations in Ukraine— Podbortsy, Lviv, Volonet, Timkovo and Pyatikhatka, according to the Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, as a result, six traction electrical substations on the railways were destroyed, “through which the Ukrainian group of troops in the Donbas was supplied with weapons and ammunition manufactured in the United States and European countries.”

On the eve of the damage to the railway infrastructure, the Ukrainian railway carrier Ukrzaliznytsia reported. According to him, six stations in the center and west of Ukraine were shelled, which led to the delay of passenger trains.

According to the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov, during the night the aircraft hit 40 military facilities of Ukraine, including four warehouses with weapons and ammunition. According to him, Russian artillery destroyed 16 command posts, “as well as 476 strongholds of nationalist units, areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment.” As a result, according to the agency, more than 300 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 53 pieces of equipment were destroyed.

In addition, the Russian military destroyed the installation of the Tochka-U complex, the ministry said. near the village of Novaya Dmitrovka and three locators for illumination and guidance of the S-300 air defense system of Ukrainian troops. Also, Russian air defense shot down nine drones in the Kharkiv and Nikolaev regions and four rockets of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system. near the village of Velikaya Kamyshevakha (Kharkiv region).

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense announced a strike by Onyx missiles; through a logistics center at a military airfield near Odessa, through which, according to the department, foreign weapons were delivered.
