The Kremlin expects Indonesian President Joko Widodo to visit Moscow on June 30, Interfax reports. with a link to the source. This is also reported by TASS and RIA Novosti.
“An extremely important visit, we are preparing for it: this is a visit to Moscow by Indonesian President Widodo on June 30,”— said the source of Interfax.
According to him, “the visit is important because Indonesia— our very large partner, with whom we maintain very intensive political and economic ties, but, in addition, Indonesia is chairing the G20 this year; and will host the G20 Summit in Bali.
G20 Summit in Bali is scheduled for November 15 & 16. President Vladimir Putin has received invitations to attend the event, but the Kremlin has yet to make a decision.
In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had received an invitation to G20 summit.
“Grateful for the invitation to participate in the G20 summit”, — Zelensky wrote back. He also thanked Widodo for “supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, the presidents discussed the issue of food security.

The next day, the Kremlin reported that Putin had a telephone conversation with Widodo and discussed the work of the G20 with him. “Issues of Russian-Indonesian cooperation were discussed, as well as— given Jakarta's G20 presidency— various aspects of the activity of this association”, — said in the message.
The previous G20 summit was held in Rome on October 30–31, 2021. Putin spoke to the participants via video link, as did Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
